Shooting Test or Trade with Revolt Studios is very simple, however, there are a few guidelines you should know before getting started:
Trade Shoot Explained
A photographer will shoot with a new or established model/client for free in exchange for the work performed by both parties. For Example, Model/Client needs to update their portfolio with new images either to market to agencies and other industry professionals or use in their advertising. Instead of Model/Client paying a photographer to shoot different images, they may requests if the photographer will be willing to shoot for trade.
So in exchange, the photographer gets updated images for their portfolio and marketing, and so does the Model/Client and no money is exchanged by either party for the services rendered.
Note: Trade shoots are only a request, and have to be approved by the photographer.
Trade Agreement
Revolt Studios requires all trade participates to review and sign our Trade Agreement. The trade agreement outlines the responsibilities and deliverables of both the shoot participant(s) and Revolt Studios. An example of the agreement can be found here. This is only required if your shoot has been approved.
Non-Disclosure Agreement
Revolt Studios requires all Trade participants to review and sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). The non-disclosure agreement (NDA) is a legal contract between Revolt Studios and the Shoot Participate(s) that outlines confidential material, knowledge, or information that the Revolt Studios wishes to share only for purposes of a potential or actual business relationship but wish to restrict access to or by third parties. As such, our NDA protects nonpublic business information. For example, our NDA would restrict you from sharing a shoot plan (idea) thought of, arranged, or designed by any team member(s) or person(s) acting on of Revolt Studio’s behalf with another photographer or 3rd party. The NDA would also restrict you from sharing any information or knowledge that Revolt Studios views as confidential.
Help us prevent Human Trafficking
Revolt Studios actively participates in the fight against human trafficking as such you may randomly be selected to verify your identity before your studio account is approved and opened. If selected you will be notified by email with instructions on how to verify your identity. No one under the age of 18 can sign up for a Studio Account with Revolt Studios without written consent from a parent or guardian.
